Ansonia High School is a Grade 9-12 school serving approximately 625 students. It is located at 20 Pulaski Highway on the Hilltop section of the city. AHS offers a wide variety of courses, including numerous college-credit classes, as well as extracurricular activities.

The mission of Ansonia High School is to prepare all students to reach their potential by teaching them the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary for academic, social and civic success. Students will be prepared for life in the ever changing technological world of the 21st century by meeting high expectations, engaging in authentic problem solving, and utilizing critical thinking.

AHS is an accredited school under the New England Association of Schools & Colleges.
