 
John C. Mead School is a Grade 3-5 school serving more than 597 children in Ansonia. It is located at 75 Ford Street in the Hilltop section of the city. Mead has new facilities, including a cafetorium, which is used to serve lunch as well as for performances and shows for students and parents, and a media center, which includes print and electronic media.
