School Climate
School climate is the overall feeling, quality, and character of a school's environment. This is shaped by the shared practices, attitudes, relationships, and experiences of students, teachers, staff and families. A safe and welcoming school climate is critical to the success for our students.
School Climate Plans are available for each of our schools. Each School Climate Plan aligns with and supports the updated School Climate Policy that the Ansonia Board of Education approved in the summer of 2025. In addition, each plan includes the shared district goal, school specific goals and action steps that were developed by each school's School Climate Committee.
